I went to a friends Sarah Boden’s wedding reception held at an ad agency in town called the Felt Hat. It was a pretty cool office space. It was a pretty nice occasion. I had very little of the food, but, it looked very good. This was the first time that I met her new husband. He seemed like a very nice man. We then went to a house party in North Portland for a couple persons B-days. It has been a while since I went to a good old fashioned house party.

I had a networking event I went to for the AIGA on Thursday. It was held at the Produce Row Bar. It was a good time socializing and meeting up some new people and many regulars to the event. I had ran into someone I used to work with at Willamette Week paper and she said she was going to Chopsticks a big Karaoke bar. The people here are the hard core of Karaoke singers. You know, the once that have the great voices and moves that they practice in the minor leagues until they can make it here. Next stage after this place is probably the gong show. All in all a good time. Maybe to good of a time. I went to work the next day useless.

After some trouble with some back-end PHP coding I have had to toss out all my old entries in this blog since it was born. I am going to have to start all over. This is actually kind of good. I am in the process of doing a lot of back end work on the site to make it actually more up-to-date and dynamic. I am going to be doing a lot of back-end work to make this and my home portal something a little more interesting. I am trying to make it so I can easily add new relevant content and make it easier to add content. Sometimes it is a chore to add content because the way I had the site set-up.

I am going to start playing around with some changes to look and layout. Plus there should be some new functionality. It’s a bummer I lost all my previous posts. But, that’s life. This time I might actually back up in a timely matter
